Today, you can see Adiyogi Idol which I visited on 10-April-2023. Yes, its one year old but for sure you will get lot of information here which will for sure help you and if you are planning to visit now then also it will help.

So, lets start. First of all this idol belongs to Isha Foundation which is having headquarter in Coimbatore and in Coimbatore same idol was built many years ago and idol at both places either in Coimbatore or Chikkaballapur (near Bangalore) are exactly same. Yes, the one in Coimbatore is having more green mountains and the whole campus is bigger and developed fully.

As of now lets concentrate on this idol of Adiyogi in Chikkaballapur near Bangalore in Karnataka. Adiyogi idol is 112 feet in hight and its surrounded by mountains. The location is chosen intentionally to make Adiyogi idol appearance better and bigger. Adiyogi is often called God Shiva.

Distance from Bangalore: 70 Kilometers

Distance from Bangalore Airport: 45 Kilometers

How to reach: Best option would be by road using taxi or personal vehicle.

Lets me share information using pictures. But to highlight all these pictures were taken on 10-April-2023. So, now roads and facilities there would be better.

To reach Isha foundation's Adiyogi Shiva idol you have to take local road also called Isha Foundation road mentioned in google maps. Distance is 8 km from national highway 44. Roads are wide and I am sure roads may have been built now. Pic shows pic from 10- April 2023

Once you reach Isha Foundation's Adiyogi idol, there all amenities are present like Bike Parking, Car Parking, Canteens, restrooms, etc. Its a big area surrounded by mountains and idol in center for sure you will like it. Parking is paid there but entry till idol is free. You have take care of your shoes, sandals as you will have to keep that in shoe rack but I am not sure someone will see that, may be now better facilities are available.

For you information when I visited one year back that time none of the shops were taking payment from UPI or card. May be network issue or something else. So, you should carry cash as well.

Main Attraction: Adiyogi idol with Laser show around 7 pm

Return: Since it's far from Bangalore and even from Chikkaballapur district, it would be good if you leave after laser show and come to highway.
