Covid's Impact on New Year 2022

Being Biker and Traveler i used to explore cities, various unexplored places, monuments and buildings, etc. but the best explorer or traveler is the one who makes you feel the city, feel the places . Every city has its own attitude , taste and way of living . 

I am writing this blog today after almost 5 months because now life is back to normal and now people have gained immunity, either naturally or by vaccine . Still there are restrictions and wearing mask has become a symbol of educated and responsible citizen.

Though corona is in control and rarely we are getting news of covid cases but it will be there as its very difficult to kill a virus (for example : polio) . Researches are going on , daily vaccines are modified/upgraded and even after 2 doses , advisory is for booster dose as well. Many citizens have taken booster dose as well mainly senior citizens.

Corona had big impact on business and many travel and entertainment industry were affected like anything . Complete shutdown on waterparks, malls, multiplex (or cinema halls) , restaurants, pubs , etc.

When it comes to pubs and celebration i feel Bangalore is on the top in list , may be Delhi also. It was New year 2022 and M.G Road and Brigade road were like normal days or even lower than that. When it comes to New Year's celebration Bangalore's M.G Road and Brigade road is the center of celebration and also Hub of party and fun and entertainment whole year . These roads have lot of pubs , restaurants where youths party. This was all ruined and impacted in the year 2022 and even in 2021 due to covid. officially there was no celebrations , there were strict instructions from government to hold all celebrations and party on the 31st eve. Unlike 2020 or before there were no arrangements from police and traffic police to help Bangaloreans in welcoming new year  rather there were strict measures to stop crowd and fine public on not following covid protocols.

so lets compare few snaps from year 2021 31st dec eve and from year 2017/2018/2019 eve.
